Requesting Entitlements

As part of your Tap to Pay on iPhone launch, you must request from Apple the ability to entitle access to your iPhone users’ proximity reader. The proximity reader is the technology that allows for payments via card tap.

  1. Log into developer.apple.com with the Apple ID used to create the account (that’s important).
  2. Make sure the membership details of the FI are up to date in their account (Address, DUNS, etc.).
  3. Go to https://developer.apple.com/contact/request/tap-to-pay-on-iphone/
  4. Fill out the form with “Autobooks+Your Online Bank Provider” as the PSP. For example: “Autobooks+Q2”; “Autobooks+NCR”; “Autobooks+CSI”. Complete other fields with:
    • None
    • None
    • Employees within my organization
    • United States
  5. Submit the form.
  6. Email your Autobooks Project Manager with the Team ID for this request, so that we may help escalate the approval process with Apple.
